VITICULTUUR:
✋🚜Second half of September HARVEST 2016: In winter there was snowfall, which was beneficial for the plant's initial reserves. Abundant water throughout the vegetative cycle. The summer was mild and during the harvest process there was rain so it was produced in a satisfactory way, which produced wines with low alcohol content and freshness.
VINIFICATIE:
⌛Fermentation in 10,000 litre stainless steel tank (50%) and 5,000 litre concrete tank (50%) with a small percentage of stems. Macerated for 8 days until the alcoholic fermentation starts with native yeasts. For 30 days it is in contact with the skins. Aged in 225 litre (50%) used French oak barrels and the rest in concrete tanks for 10 months
DEGUSTATIE:
👁 Cherry red colour with violet reflections and covered layer
👃 Frank, with intense smells of red fruit and flowers, appearing in a second plantation the mineralization and smells typical of our limestone soils (sweetness, graphite and spices).
👅 It shows a sweet tooth, fresh acidity and tasty fructosity, pointing out the varietal character of Garnacha Tintorera and the identity of the organic territory, with an excellent limestone and Mediterranean expression

Productieve druivensoort voor rode wijn die meestal gebruikt wordt om zijn goede kleur. De wijnen zijn licht fruitig met een goed alcohol percentage. syn: Alicante
Typiciteit: Leer, pruimen en rode bessen.
Het wijngebied Almansa ligt in de streek Castilla-La Mancha, de streek van Don Quijote. Belangrijke historische steden zijn Toledo, Cuenca en Albacete. Terroir: De bodem is kalkrijk en bestaat verder vooral uit leem en zand. Klimaat: De zomers zijn erg droog en heet. De winters daarentegen zijn streng.
VENTA LA VEGA (BIO)
1. Voorstelling: Het landgoed Bodegas y Viñedos Venta la Vega omvat meer dan 850 ha ecologische landbouwgrond in het bergachtige kalksteengebied van Almansa. Van bij de start pasten ze de ecologische filosofie toe. De uitgestrekte ligging, en hoogte van 1200 m zorgt voor verschillende, natuurlijke microklimaten die toelaten om het land te bewerken zonder chemische behandelingen. Verder werken ze samen met 2 van de beste Spaanse wijnmakers, Raúl Pérez Pereira en Jose Angel Martinez.
2. Wijngaard: 250 hectares wijnstokken verspreid over de Meseta (Centraal Plateau), en op hoogtes rond 800 à 900 m bij de rots Mugron (hoogte tot 2300 m) enz.
3. Oogst: Meestal eind september, zowel manuele pluk als mechanisch volgens de ligging.
4. Wijnkelder: Grote productiecapaciteit. De cave bezit een heel arsenaal aan tanks in inox en beton, en houten vaten waaronder Franse eikenhouten barrels van 225 en 500 liter. Onze wijnen worden bewerkt vanuit twee concepten: lage opbrengst en kleine percelen met verschillende bodems en verschillende oriëntaties.
5. Wijnen: De bodega concentreert zich voornamelijk op de Garnacha Tintorera, ze geloven dat dit een zeer gewilde druif zal worden in de toekomst. Ze blenden ook Shiraz met Monastrell, zowel mediterrane als inheemse druiven. Verder ook Verdejo, Syrah en Tempranillo.
6. Eco: 100% biologisch & VEGAN. Permanente inzet voor kwaliteit, voedselveiligheid, respect voor het milieu in het kader van duurzaamheid en sociale verantwoordelijkheid in de gewone uitoefening van haar activiteiten.

This smells really jammy with so much
cherry and berry character. Some
raspberries, too. Yet, on the palate it is
full and linear with dusty tannins and a
fresh finish. White pepper and spice on
the finish. Very contrastive and fun to
drink From organically grown grapes.
